Royalty free music
|
|
_Royalty free music refers to musical productions
a license of use of which we can acquire: once this bought license, we
can use the piece as often as stipulated in a contract of sale and use
drafted between the salesman and the buyer without having to pay of
supplementary Royalty.
It does not mean that by buying a piece of music free of
rights we become an owner of the piece. Terms of service are clarified
in the licensing agreement.
It happens that multimedia companies (cinema, television,
advertising, radio, Internet, software) need music for their projects;
it can be complicated and expensive, notably because of the traditional
structures of payment which ask to release supplementary rights for
every custom. To answer at the request of the market, several companies
offer musics free of rights on their catalogs.
